What is Cloud Playout

Cloud playout is a software-defined television that generates a 24/7 live stream broadcast pre-recorded video assets. The platform was established to broadcast local TV stations, IPTV/OTT services, live events, and live church services. It allowed the creation of own channels at a lower cost and with less complex equipment. Cloud playout has a manual switch that allows playout feed to live event stream. The switch also allows interruption of regular broadcast schedule for insertion of live programming or to deliver breaking news at any point of the broadcast schedule. Cloud playout also integrates social media streaming such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook etc.
